The mayor of Palermo met the ambassador of Korea mr Hee-Seog Kwon
The mayor of Palermo, mr Leoluca Orlando, met today, at Villa Niscemi, the ambassador of the Republic of Korea in Italy, Hee-Seog Kwon. “The presence of the ambassador – declared the mayor – confirms the interest of the Republic of Korea for Palermo. Hee-Seog Kwon expressed great appreciation for the cultural journey of the city which resumes after the pandemic thanks also to the important international tourist flow.
“I hope, and it is also the ambassador’s wish, that charter flights from Korea to Palermo and vice versa, suspended precisely because of the pandemic crisis, will soon be able to resume”.
