“A course for peace”. Good food as a way to join people against war

The third edition of the event “Un piatto per la pace” a course for peace, will take place on May 31st, which Inner Wheel Club Qarinis and Fidapa Palermo Mondello are organizing, again this year, at the “Danilo Dolci” Institute in Partinico. The initiative is based on the assumption that conviviality is the basis of fraternal respect and therefore three countries will present a typical dish from which a jury will choose the one to reward. The dishes are identified by as many Foreign Consulates operating in the Province of Palermo. In past years, Poland, the Czech Republic, Lithuania, Spain, Greece and Cyprus have participated in the competition, while this year it will be the turn of Denmark, Norway and Portugal.
The event has the patronage of Fe.N.Co. Among the numerous jurors, in addition to the Consuls of Denmark, Norway and Portugal, there will be Chef Tony Lo Coco (in the photo above), President of “Le Soste di Ulisse”, the President of the Red Tuna Academy in Sicily Maurizio Scaglione and the Director of Confcommercio Sicilia Vincenzo Costa
