International underground music festival at Cantieri Culturali alla Zisa

Alborosie, Noyz Narcos and Rancore are some of the artists on stage from August 30th to September 1st. Live, DJ sets and more exhibitions at the Grandi Eventi Area and Cre.Zi Plus, Spazio Franco, Arci Tavola Tonda and Haus Der Kunst. A reggae soldier, white and Italian, heir to Bob Marley, a legend of rap and national hardcore, a freestyle professional but also hip hop: Alborosie, Noyz Narcos and Rancore are just some of the names of the world scene that will be on stage for the sixth edition of Beat-Full, the international festival of underground music on August 30th to September 1st.

It will take place at the Cantieri Culturali alla Zisa with live, DJ sets and even exhibitions. Three days dedicated to the sound and music, in the year in which Palermo is the Italian Capital of Culture.

In the Great Events Area, a huge stage will be set up and will host the heart of the Beat-Full line-up. Open doors therefore for Cre.Zi Plus, Spazio Franco, Arci Tavola Tonda and Haus Der Kunst. At Cre.Zi Plus the activities will take place in the afternoon, starting at 6 pm. In the three days, the DJ sets of Sønn and Tv.Eye will alternate with the live performances of Yosonu, The Girls of Okinawa, Diana and 42DE. At night, instead, the program at the Franco Space and at the Arci Tavola Tonda, from midnight onwards, between Sergio Cataldi’s DJ sets and I live on Fys, Honko, Democrazia Tropicale and Fulgeance.

At the Haus Der Kunst it will be possible to visit ‘Sieverding – Palermo’, the collateral exhibition of Manifesta 12 inaugurated last June. On the occasion of the International Biennial of Art for the first time in Palermo, the space within the multicultural pole curated by reality in Dusseldorf, in Palermo, to 14 works by the Czech photographer Katharina Sieverding between 1969 and 2018 and set up as real and advertising posters and that, on the occasion of the Beat-Full Festival, can also be visited at night until the closing time of the former Ducrot workshops. From midnight onwards the exhibition will be sounded with a performance of electronic music performed by the Kolosimo brothers.

The heart of the three days will be the Great Events Area. The first to get on the most “beat” stage of Sicily is Alborosie. Thursday, August 30, starting at 23, the first white musician which music is distributed by the label of Bob Marley will be accompanied by The Shengen Clan. Before him will change the sets of Mistical Sound & Tanzo, Lupen HiFi, Himera Sound, Guido Savatteri and Palermo African All Stars. Friday, August 31, from 21, it is up to the Italian star of the rap Noyz Narcos and the winner of MTV Spit Rancore. With them also Claver Gold and Quentin40, anticipated by the live Jey / Den & dj Koma, Dirt’o Malley, Spika and Felix de Almeida. Closing party finally Saturday, September 1st. For the occasion, it lands on the Island Pop X, the most histrionic and unpredictable project of the Italian pop scene in recent years, together with the live performances of the Sicilian Dj Delta, Enzo Savastano and the dj set of International Trash Ribelle.

The organization of the three days is entrusted to Db Produzioni in collaboration with I Candelai, Discover Productions, Livio Spallino, Moltivolti, Arci Porco Rosso and Skip La Comune. The main sponsor for the 2018 edition is Forst, the independent beer company. Among others Vue Audio Tecnik, Sinergie Group, Atom Video, Cooperative Credit Bank, KeepOn Festival Experience, Attitude, Ballarak, Good Fellas Tattoos, Brutus Brasserie, Old School by Anto and an Assault Studio. Admission to Cre.Zi Plus, Spazio Franco, Arci Tavola Tonda and Haus Der Kunst is always free.
