The Mayor Orlando met the Ambassador in Italy of the Ivory Coast

The mayor of Palermo, Mr Leoluca Orlando received the Ambassador in Italy of the Ivory Coast M.me. Janine Tagliante Saracino and Mr Jean-Louis Moulot, mayor of Grand Bassam, the first capital of the Ivory Coast from 1893 to 1900 and twinned with Palermo.

“The meeting with the mayor of Grand Bassam and with the ambassador of the Ivory Coast, – said Orlando – confirms the desire of the twinned municipalities to proceed with exchanges concerning artistic, commercial and productive deals. Mayor Moulot met numerous Sicilian economic operators, inviting me to lead a delegation to evaluate Grand Bassam the possibility of increasing these exchanges “.
