Vietnamese Culture Festival in Palermo

Mayor Leoluca Orlando received at the Palazzo delle Aquile the ambassador in Italy of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Cao Chinh Thien.

“The ambassador’s presence is the confirmation of the internalization of our city. In these days many Vietnamese students and teachers are in Palermo. The wish of the city is to intensify more and more the relationship between the Vietnamese and Palermo and Sicily on the artistic, cultural and economic fields.

During the institutional visit, the mayor of Palermo and the ambassador also spoke about the Vietnamese Culture Festival.

Inserted in the events related to Palermo Capital of Culture 2018, the Festival is promoted by young Vietnamese university students who have chosen to study in Italy with the support of the Ambassador of the Republic Socialist of Vietnam in Italy and under the patronage of the City of Palermo and the University of Palermo.
