Tonight boy soprano Choir in Lampedusa for migrants
The boy soprano Choir of the Conservatory Vincenzo Bellini of Palermo, led by Antonio Sottile, will be in Lampedusa, Europe’s doorstep, tonight, May 27th 9 p.m. In the evocative location of the Chiesa Madre, the voices of forty boys will spread a message of peace and solidarity.
The Concert will be streamed, live streaming, on youtube – liberaespressionelive playing sacred music from the 18th to the 20th centuries. The Choir will be accompanied on piano by Francesca Librizzi, soprano Gloria Grisanti. In the afternoon, as a symbolic event, at the Porta d’Europa, Giulia Mei, pupil of the Conservatory of Piano and Composition, will sing La Barca, a prize-winning song dedicated to migrants.
From 8.30 pm open to the Conservatory with direct streaming of the event on the big screen in Sala Scarlatti.
