The ambassador of the Republic of South Africa, Mr Shirish Manaklal met the Mayor

The mayor of Palermo, Leoluca Orlando, received this morning at the representative office of Villa Niscemi, the ambassador of the Republic of South Africa, Mr Shirish Manaklal, who is in this days visiting Sicily.

“This visit confirms the increasingly growing internationalization of Palermo – sayd the mayor Orlando. – It was an opportunity to organize future twinning and bilateral trade, and promote the meeting and the synergy between the South Africa and Palermo”.

In greeting the ambassador Shirish Manaklal, the mayor gave him a cartographic collection of the Sicily of Antonio La Gumina, “The Island with three points”.
