“Settimana delle culture” “Festival of Cultures” sixth edition in Palermo from 12 to 23 May

Starting the “Festival of Cultures”, 235 events including exhibitions, music, theater, visits and much more from artists and performers from all the world. The inauguration will be Friday, May 12th, at 17 pm at Palazzo Sant’Elia. The event will be officially opened by thCorale San Sebastiano of the Municipal Police.

Six exhibitions will be inaugurated here:

O’Tama and Vincenzo Ragusa: a bridge between Tokyo and Palermo, exhibition of painting, sculpture and applied arts,

Genera / Azioni – I Pecoraino: Aldo, Mario, Giusva and Martina, exhibition of painting and sculpture,

Essenza. Two contemporary artists who talk with different languages: Peter Demetz’s backlit wood sculptures and Raimondo Ferlito’s recovered canvases,

Three exhibitions will be hosted at Sala delle Capriate: Fragmenta. Artisti a confronto, Contrasti. Progetti di fotografia, and Un ponte verso la Sicilia.
