It was presented at Villa Niscemi the “disability pride 2016” in partnership with NYC

It was presented this morning at Villa Niscemi the disability pride 2016. It will held from 8th to 10th july at Cantieri Culturali alla Zisa.

The press conference was attended by Carmelo Comisi president of “MoVIS Onlus”, Angelo Aliquò, president of IRCCS Bonino Pulejo Messina, Maurizio Li Muli, member of the borough council, Barbara Evola assessor for social policy.

Many topics are going to be developped at the “disability village” at Cantieri Culturali alla Zisa, health and research, tourism and travel and sexuality as well.

This event takes place in partnership with Disability Pride NYC indeed.

On 10th July in NYC is going to be the Disability Pride NYC Parade. It will start at 11AM in Union Square then goes up to Broadway to Madison Square Park where there will be a festival and huge celebration until 4PM.

At the end of the Disability Pride the mayor of Palermo Leoluca Orlando will connect via video conference with the mayor of NYC
