Integration: a course to improve the staff of the municipality
The staff of the municipality will follow courses to promote the integration of immigrants in the implementation of a project of the European Fund for the Integration of third-party nationals, funded by the European Union and the Home Office.
The purpose of the project, “Capacity Building” and the improvement of governance in the area of immigration in view of the activation of the Metropolitan Area of
Palermo.
Specifically, PAMNET is an innovative project of training,
exchange and networking that involves approximately 250 professionals from several
services (Social Services, Municipal Districts and Delegations,
Municipal Police, Educational Services) of the local authorities involved to
strengthen services for foreign nationals. The courses, which began in January, will be completed in June.
