“Happy winter”, the first docufilm of film director Giovanni Totaro
It will be screened next Sunday, 1 October at 8.30 pm at the cinema “Rouge et Noir”, Totaro, shot with non-professional Palermo born actors.
The film is the diploma essay that Totaro has completed at the end of his studies at the Experimental Center of Cinematography. It tells the lives of ordinary people who every summer populate the beach of Mondello and was screened on September 6th at the 74th Venice Film Show.
We are proud – say Mayor Leoluca Orlando and Culture Councilor, Andrea Cusumano – that Giovanni Totaro attended the oriental Venice Film Festival, even as long as he was formed at the Experimental Center of the Cantieru Culturali alla Zisa”.
