GAM, opening saturday 21th october the Henry Cartier-Bresson exhibition

Is going to open saturday 21th october at the GAM in Palermo the exhibition of shots of Henry Cartier-Bresson.

Up to February 25, 2018, 140 shots in a large exhibition promoted by the Cultural Council of the City of Palermo and organized by the association Civita in collaboration with the Fondazione Henri Cartier-Bresson.

One of is quotation is “A photographer’s eye is perpetually evaluating. A photographer can bring coincidence of line simply by moving his head a fraction of a millimeter. He can modify perspectives by a slight bending of the knees. By placing the camera closer to or farther from the subject, he draws a detail. But he composes a picture in very nearly the same amount of time it takes to click the shutter, at the speed of a reflex action”
