A new tourist map of the metropolitan city of Palermo

Great success at BIT, the International Tourism Exchange, in Milan, of the new Tourist Map of the Metropolitan City of Palermo.

Curated by some employees of the Tourist Activities Department of the Metropolitan City of Palermo, this new version of the Tourist Map has been designed to accompany tourists to discover the most famous monumental historical heritage of Palermo and its metropolitan territory and to satisfy those interested in sites less known or out-of-traditional.

The Tourist Map updated, but also enriched in content, presents within it several sections, containing the conditions for visiting the monuments listed by style: the Archaeological, the Liberty, the Arab-Norman, the Unesco itinerary, the Gothic-Renaissance , the Baroque, the Late Baroque, as well as the section relating to the Historical Markets and that of the Museums and Theaters, and further information on the Libraries, Cultural Centers, Public Green Areas, Transportation,  Wi-Fi free areas, info lines, municipal tourist information centers and shopping centers.

Among the novelties of the Map also an itinerary of the culture of legality and some photographs of the territory of the Metropolitan Area.
For the first time, a tear-off map of the City and of the whole Metropolitan City of Palermo, was released smaller in size, useful for those who stop in the city for a short time and prefer a map of easy and immediate consultation.

La map  is available to visitors at the two tourist information points of the Metropolitan City of Palermo in via Principe di Belmonte n.92 and at the Falcone e Borsellino Airport.
