One night at the end of summer
In the evening of a late summer and early fall day, I walked with my friends on the edge of the ancient Piazza Marina villa. We arrive in a restaurant not far away, surrounded by ancient noble palaces and ancient trees.
In front of the illuminated restaurant, there are romantic couples and group of friends who come from far away and many people who dine here. The restaurant’s name is “Spillo e Mazzancolle”, inspired by the variety of spiked shrimps (spillo) and shrimp prawns (mazzancolle), with a variety of local specialties and neat and welcoming hospitality.
By the way, take a look at the chef’s workshop. And the bathroom is and clean and tidy as well. Fine!
There is a small pizza that is my favorite, crunchy and delicious, with a refreshing sparkling wine, wonderful music flowing in my ears, talking with friends, what a wonderful night, what a comfortable environment. We go on tasting linguine with prawns and spaghetti with squid ink, tuna carpaccio and fried calamari. All very good. What a night! Let people go!
