Sicilian citrus fruits to China by air
Sicilian citrus fruits will be transported to China by air. This is a change in the competition between Italy and China that is very important for the supply chain and for the entire sector. The news was given by Minister Luigi Di Maio during the visit to the Shanghai expo.
Until today citrus fruits have been transported only by ship. The change therefore marks a change of pace in the policies of citrus export, which is fundamental for the economy of Sicily.
