Palermo and Valletta together for 2018. Cultural twinning at Palazzo Asmundo

The twinning between the cities of Palermo and Valletta keeps going on. With 2018 at the gates, the year that will see Palermo, the Italian Capital of Culture and the Maltese city, European Capital of Culture, the two cities have met again in the Sicilian capital. The event, organized by the “Tourism and Entertainment” category of Confartigianato Imprese Palermo, together with “Palermo is”, “Federteatri Sicilia” and under the patronage of the Municipality of Palermo, was held on Friday 29 December at 5 pm at Palazzo Asmundo, via Pietro Novelli 3.

Were present, among others, Giulio Cusumano, city councilman, Francesco Giacalone, president of Federteatri Sicilia, Filippo Ribisi, president of Confartigianato Sicilia; Giuseppe Pezzati, president of Confartigianato Palermo; Laura Arcilesi president of “Palermo is”, Davide Morici, president of the Tourism and Entertainment sector of Confartigianato; Salvatore D’Agati, president of Club Amici Italia-Malta and Vincenzo Perricone, president of the Siciliando association. At 9 pm at the Teatro Savio, there was the concert of the choir Pontis Mariae, directed by Tony Caronna, with soprano Haydee Dabusti attended by Madam Vanessa Frazier, ambassador in Italy of the Republic of Malta.
