Leoluca Orlando met Ambassador of Bangla Desh

Mayor Leoluca Orlando received in Palazzo delle Aquile Ambassador of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh in Italy Mister Abdus Sobhan Sikder, accompanied by Honorary Consul in Palermo, Vincenzo Di Tanto.

“This meeting – said Mayor Leoluca Orlando – has been the occasion to confirm the importance of the relationship between Bangladesh and Palermo and the special appreciation for the Bengal community, a working community that contribute to the growth and development of the city” .

Sumi Aktar and Alamin Md, councilors of the Culture Council and representatives of Bangladesh in the organ of the City of Palermo took part in the meeting too.
