The exhibition features around 70 large-format paintings that make up the key pieces in the Lange’s creative journey.

Portraits

Among them are portraits of the author’s family, a portrait of Frederick II, a historical character to whom Lange is particularly attached, capturing in him a deep and indissoluble bond between Palermo and Germany.
Two installations are also part of the exhibition, as it is to break the continuity of the long series of paintings that the stunning exhibition space hosts. One in particular strikes with its statues of Venus lying on the ground.
